Camino gear test in the Spanish countryside

Signs of the camino are everywhere
The Spanish farmers pack their grass in black plastic,
unlike the Norwegian farmers who use white.

Pilgrims get a chance to test their rain gear today.

 Succulents

It is obvious that the Spaniards in the countryside love their animals -
 the preferred calendar "girls".

One comes across interesting modes of transportation on the camino.
Later I meet the owner of this contraption.

Pilgrim grafitti.

Spring was everywhere.

My gear stood up to ten hours of muddy walking
through charming villages in the Spanish pyrenees.

I washed the mud off my Helly Hansen pants and cleaned my boots with some wet paper.
Ready to go again. Except that it is raining today too.
